About our founder

Eric Kittelberger, President & Founder

Eric, a Boulder, CO, native, has built a distinguished career in financial services by combining expertise, innovation, and a commitment to client success. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Economics and Political Science, setting the foundation for his future in finance.

He began his career as a bank teller at the Bank of Boulder, quickly climbing the ranks through dedication and hard work. He honed his skills in credit analysis through a formal credit training program with Community First Bankshares in Fargo, ND, before returning to Boulder to establish his client base.

Over the years, Eric became known for his ability to deliver tailored financing solutions for a diverse range of needs, from personal car loans to multi-million-dollar condominium construction projects. Recognizing a growing demand for efficiency and flexibility in real estate financing, he carved out a niche in fix-and-flip lending. By developing an innovative loan product, he empowers clients to secure quick funding for property purchases, streamlining the process for maximum results.

Driven by the belief that financial services could be done better outside the traditional banking frameworks, Eric founded Harlequin Financial Services. His motivation is to provide creative, client-focused solutions that simplify financing and help individuals and businesses achieve their goals.

When he’s not working with clients, Eric enjoys travel and cooking, reflecting the values and spirit of his roots.
